Iceland has launched a new ‘Save for Christmas’ bonus scheme.
Shoppers who have the supermarket’s Bonus Card will get an extra £1 to spend in store for every £10 they load on to it in the next two weeks.
The ‘Save for Christmas’ perk comes on top of the standard Bonus Card reward – a £1 bonus for every £20 loaded on to the card.
Calling all Tesco Clubcard holders: There’s just a day left to clock up Christmas bonus points
So customers loading £20 onto their Bonus Cards between now and 29 October will get a £3 bonus – made up of the usual £1 for every £20 loaded, plus the extra £1 for each £10 loaded during the two-week promotion.
Loading £20 twice a week during the offer will result in customers receiving a £12 bonus.
Cards can be loaded in store and online and the Save for Christmas rewards will be linked to customers’ Bonus Cards in one transaction by Thursday 2 November and will be valid until 2 November 2022. However, the standard bonus will still be added to the card automatically within 48 hours and does not have an expiry date.
To take part, you will need a registered, permanent Bonus Card or a temporary card can be picked up in store but you’ll need to register it online by 29 October 2017.
Personal finance expert Jasmine Birtles, said: ‘The Iceland Bonus Card is the best loyalty or savings card for food shoppers as it not only gives the highest monetary reward but is simpler to use than most other reward cards. A simple £1 for every £20 uploaded to the card is very easy to do and a bonus worth having.
‘The extra £1 for every £10 loaded is even better value and a great boost to savvy shoppers who are getting their Christmas goodies in early.’
